TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Keyboard/piano: classes are held at Mustang Park Recreation Center in Irving on following days: Mondays 5:00-7:15pm and Saturdays: 2:30-4:00pm .Classes are held once-a-week as small-group classes in 45-minutes duration and with 4 students per class. Each student is provided a keyboard/headphones. Each student receives one-on-one instruction but the time is shared in class.
Guitar classes: are held at Mustang Park Recreation Center in Irving on following day/times: Saturdays: 1:00- 1:45pm and 1:45-2:30pm. Classes are held as small-group classes with 4 students per class year-round. Each student is provided a guitar/headphones (or you can bring your acoustic guitar). Each student receives one-on-one instruction but the time is shared in class. * Contact us before enrolling for available spot in class
Makeup class: If you miss a lesson and would like to receive a make-up lesson, please complete the make-up form here. MAKEUP CLASSES ARE NOT GUARANTEED!
Payment instructions: All students have to enroll before the beginning of the classes. No enrollment is accepted at Mustang Park Recreation Center. All students have to register for classes through this website (no walk-in accepted). All payment are accepted via electronic payment processed through PayPal ONLY. We accept major credit cards & debit cards.
Stopping/Withdrawing: Provide written notice 48-hrs prior to your next billing date (see details below). We will then cancel your automatic billing before that date and apply your advance payment of last month’s tuition fee payment towards your last month. (first-time student requires at least 2 month commitment)
IF YOU WITHDRAW WITHOUT PROPER 30-DAYS NOTICE, WE WILL CHARGE YOU FOR FULL MONTH: $110
AUTO PAYMENT PLAN:
After signing up for lessons, you're charged every 30-days automatically. On an average, you will have 4 lessons per month, some months 5 lessons. There will be no lessons on public holidays when Mustang Park Recreation Center is closed.
TERMS/CONDITIONS FOR AUTO DEBIT PAYMENTS:
By signing up for auto debit payment, you're committing to pay on monthly basis.
WITHDRAWING/STOPPING CLASSES:
Should you like to stop lessons:
You are required to provide a written notice (to musikinschool.info@gmail.com) at least 48 hrs-days prior to your next billing date to withdraw from our program. For example, if your billing date is 12th of the month, we need written notice by 10th of that month.
If the written notice is provided after your billing date, then you will be charged for the following month. For example, your billing date is 12th of the month, and you provide notice on 13th of the month, you will be charged again on the next 12th of the month which will be your last month.
If auto debit charge comes back failed, we will charge you $30 and inform you correct the problem.
If auto debit charge fails, you fail pay $30 failed fee and do no respond to our communication within 24hours via email, we will trigger withdrawal process but you will still owe all outstanding fees and collection charges.
If you revoke automatic payment authorization without providing 30-day withdrawal notice, we may immediately suspend your account and restrict any further participation in classes. In addition you will be responsible for all outstanding tuition fees on the account.
LAST MONTH’S TUITION FEE: We now require last' month’s tuition fee paid in advance upon enrollment. This means when you provide proper withdrawal notice (see above), we will cancel your active automatic billing and apply the pre-paid last month’s tuition fee towards your last month. You can complete the waiver form and we may waive the last month’s tuition fee requirement. Click here to complete the waiver form.
REFUNDS: We do not provide refund of any kind. When you're signing up for classes, you're committing to lessons and we are reserving your spot by not accepting another student. Once you've made your payment but cannot continue lessons for ANY reason, we are unable to offer refund in any situation.
BUYING KEYBOARD/PIANO: We highly recommend that you have a keyboard or piano at home for your child to practice when he/she begins taking lessons. If a keyboard/piano is not available at home, the lessons will be wasted as the student is unable to practice. Please refer to Resources page "Buying Guide" on this website for information on what type of keyboard or piano to buy for your child.
LESSON WITHDRAWALS: Please provide written notice (verbal notice not accepted) at least 48-hours prior to your next billing date. You will then be charged on that billing date which will be your 30-days billing date notice for withdrawal (example: if your billing date is 18th of the month, written notice has to be received by us by 16th of the that month. You will then be charged on 18th of the month as your last charge on the account). If this notice is not provided, the registration fee for the month will be due in full. The withdrawal notice cannot be provided verbally and has to be written and can be sent via email to musikinschool.info@gmail.com. If you withdraw without notice, (or cancel your automatic billing prior to your last scheduled bill) your account may be suspended and you WILL NOT be offered additional music classes. We use 4 lessons/month average once your last month is calculated. Also see past due accounts section that applies to no notice withdrawals.
ENROLLMENT FEE: There is a one-time $50 enrollment fee for all new enrollments. If you are a returning student (who had withdrawn from the program in past), you will be required to pay the enrollment fee.
MAKEUP LESSONS: When you signup, you're paying for regularly held group classes. If you miss any group classes, we do not owe you a makeup lesson. However, we offer courtesy makeup lessons scheduled once a month via this website. Details on how to sign up for makeup lessons are listed here. If you withdraw from the program, you forfeit all pending makeup lessons and they cannot be used again (even if you re-enroll in the program later). MAKEUP CLASSES ARE NOT GUARANTEED!
PAST DUE ACCOUNTS: Accounts where parents fail to provide 30-day withdrawal notice and stop enrollment abruptly are considered "past due accounts". We will charge for last month's fee and collection charges ($110+30). The collection charges can be avoided if you pay our invoice for outstanding balance within 5-days from last scheduled class. If that invoice is not paid within 5-days, we will forward your account to a collection company and you will be responsible for $140 ($110+30).
LESSON RESCHEDULE/STUDENT NO-SHOW: If a student is unable to attend a scheduled class or student is a no-show for a scheduled class, we do offer make-up classes (please complete the make-up form). If the class is not conducted due to rec center or our decision, a make up class will be announced.
METHOD BOOKS: Purchasing method book for your child's piano/guitar lesson is your responsibility. The class teacher will inform you what book and where to buy it. As a courtesy, when you're child begins piano lesson as a beginner, the teacher will bring the first method book for the student. Please have $9 cash (piano) available to purchase the book. Please inquire about guitar book with the teacher.
CLASS TEACHERS: Various music instructors may be assigned to a class. While every effort is made to keep continuity, we cannot guarantee a a specifc instructor teaching the same class.
TUITION FEE RECEIPT: We do not/cannot provide a receipt for your tuition fee payments. Please visit the payment gateway you used to pay us (Paypal or Square) and you should be able to print out records of your payments.
INJURY WAIVER: Parents and legal guardians of minors, students and adult students waive the right to any legal action for any injury sustained on satellite facilities resulting from normal lesson activity or any other activity conducted by the students or their siblings including hearing loss or hearing damage.
